Dear members,
This program offers core competency training on human resources regulations and trends that are becoming increasing numerous and complex. The five core modules are designed to enhance the knowledge of staffing and recruitment professionals who interact with candidates, employees and customers on a daily basis.
ACSESS core industry training is an excellent opportunity to keep employee knowledge up-to-date. This program also prepares those wishing to pursue the North American industry designation Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) designation.

Introduction of Key Speaker: Mary McIninch
- Long-term Director of Government Relations for ACSESS. She is a member of the organization's Employment Standards Committee whose goal is to monitor Employer / Employee relationships, and protect the interests of their membership in their commercial, legal and regulatory affairs.
- We have been speculating that there will be many changes forthcoming as Saskatchewan itself has been significantly under-governed compared to other provinces (specifically ON and AB).
Discussion
Role of ACSESS Chapters
- The mandate of the Chapters is "to carry out local programs in accordance with the principles of ACSESS". Regional programming and services are often the most visible benefits of membership for new members, local operators and non-management staff.
- Chapters shall include as an overall objective a responsibility for providing greater awareness and understanding of ACSESS' goals and activities, and regulatory/operational issues facing the industry. National update reports shall be provided to Chapter members following each regular meeting of the National Board; and Chapters shall provide feedback to the National Board.
Membership Criteria
- Corporate, Associate, or Affiliate
Volunteer Board
- Only until December 31, 2012
- State Formal Board Procedures (pg 7) On or before the last business day in January of each year, the Chapter shall communicate to the entire membership in the Chapter a "Call for Nominations"
