CPC Exemptions

The ACSESS National Board was recently pleased to receive and confirm CPC Committee recommendations for the continuous enhancement of this program. 2010-2011 goals cover such areas as development of reference materials (study guide, glossary of terms); instructor development; improvements to core modules; webinar training, continuing education and equivalency training.

ACSESS exemption policies and the knowledge requirements to complete the CPC program have been reviewed with reference also being made to related certification programs. For applications received after July 1, 2010 the maximum number of available CPC course exemptions will be reduced from 4 to 2, in addition exemptions granted on the length of industry experience will be measured against industry sector experience.

Professional credentialing is a statement to the business community and the clients that we serve, and it is important that the ACSESS Certification program represents the provision of quality services by staffing industry professionals who hold the CPC designation.
