About a year ago, employers were struggling to change policies and practices to implement Bill 148's significant changes to the Employment Standards Act, 2000 (ESA) and the Labour Relations Act, 1995 (LRA). Now, with the change in government and the passage of Bill 47, many of Bill 148's changes have been reversed or will be reversed effective January 1, 2019.
